Being crowned Miss South Asia Canada 2012 at the age of 17, I believe it makes it easier to connect with the young generation and express opinions that they can knowingly relate to. I use this opportunity to promote the involvement of the youth within the society and encourage them to think positive, choose the right path but most importantly give back to the community in a respectful manner because today’s youth, is tomorrow’s future.
